The Fifth Person in the Classroom
One night, three of my friends and I played this game in an empty classroom: we turned off the lights, and the four of us each stood at one of the four corners of the classroom. After the game started, the person at one corner walks to the next corner, taps the person standing there on the shoulder, and stays at that corner. Then the person who got tapped walks to the next corner the same way, taps the shoulder of the person there... this goes on and on. Everyone walks in the same direction, either clockwise or counter-clockwise. We had a lot of fun playing. But after the game ended, I thought it over carefully and felt terrified.

Why did I feel panicked after the game ended?
