Chalk Marks on the Wall
There is a row of inconspicuous chalk grid marks on the wall of my building hallway. Every morning when I go out, there is one more grid than there was the previous day. This is not doodling by a child, not a mark left by a neighbor, and not a countdown. The marks kept growing nonstop, so I moved away overnight.
