One Flight of Stairs Missing

I am a person who often experiences hallucinations. These days, when I head home, I always feel like someone is following me. There has been occasional renovation noise coming from downstairs. One day, I got drunk with a friend, and my friend walked me home. I kept feeling that one flight of stairs was missing along the way. When we got inside, it did look like my home. The next day, I disappeared.
