The Curse

My landlord confessed his feelings for me. Looking at the ugly, greasy, overweight man in front of me, I decisively rejected him. To avoid being harassed, my friend found me a new apartment. The landlady was an elderly woman, which made me feel much safer. On the first night after moving in, I vaguely heard the landlady humming a strange tune next door. I also noticed someone peeking at me from my windowsill! When he saw me, he ran away. From his back, I could only tell he was a slender person. On the seventh night after moving in, I heard a 'shhh, shhh, shhh' sound coming from my room. I got up to search but found nothing, but as soon as I lay down, I heard it again. In my sleep, I felt someone licking me. The next morning, the sight before my eyes made my hair stand on end.
